Job Description

We are looking for a computational biologist to be involved in all aspects of analysis and software/pipeline development at the company. This includes analysis of immune (B-cell and T-cell) repertoires from next generation sequencing data, target and whole-genome single-cell transcriptomics and antibody candidate prioritisation.


We are looking for a star computational biologist with a PhD in computational biology (with or without post-doc experience) or a Masters level in Bioinformatics (with at least some post-degree bioinformatics experience in academia or industry). You should already have experience analysing high-throughput sequencing data such as RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, WGS etc. and have good knowledge of Molecular Biology, mammalian gene expression and preferably some immunology, although this is a plus. Experience with single-cell RNA-seq data would be an advantage. You should also know at least one scripting language like Perl or Python, database SQL, graphing and statistical analyses in R and shell scripting in Linux. Knowing how to present data in the most intuitive and informative way to your colleagues and external partners is critical so you should be able to provide examples of this from your previous work. You should also feel comfortable talking to wet-lab scientists as these are the people you will be working closely with. Excellent presentation skills in English to present the results of experiments are also a must as you will be presenting regularly to both external industrial partners as well as internally to colleagues.
