Job Description

We are currently seeking a Commercial Sales Training Manager! The Commercial Sales Training Manager is responsible for optimizing commercial client facing team effectiveness and enhance client engagement. The primary responsibility is conducting a wide range of training responsibilities across the full commercial team. 

About the Role:

  • Assist with the design of new hire training curriculum content and job skill requirements that build mastery to improve performance in field sales and internal client facing roles
  • Build and train selling skills to execute marketing campaigns across all client segments, with heavy focus on prospecting new clients to fill the sales funnel
  • Provide performance feedback of new hire sales and client coordinator professionals in order to optimize development and create seamless transitions from the training environment to work in the business function
  • Facilitate knowledge and skills "Gap Analysis' across the commercial sales teams to design new learning content in conjunction with leadership and marketing input
  • Conducts training using various mediums such as: Web-Ex, video conferencing and in person facilitation
  • Use external learning content to creatively add to behavior and skills learning - e.g. LinkedIn Learning
  • Provide developmental coaching and feedback to Client Relations Coordinator teams through 1:1 sessions and group training environments
  • Coordinate and facilitate best practice sharing with sales and client relationship leadership teams to develop a best in class commercial organization

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of two years in learning/development or a a minimum of training experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience required, 2 years of leadership training role preferred
