Job Description

We are seeking a talented individual with proven track record to join our team as a CLS. The desired candidates would have experience in building CLIA/CAP laboratories from the ground up. A generalist CLS would be the best fit for our needs. Ensuring quality of work and patient centric acumen is a must.


  • Build out our CLIA/CAP testing laboratory
  • Develop appropriate policies in conjunction with Quality group
  • Ensure our facility is compliant to the appropriate guidelines
  • Ensure organization is audit ready for CLIA/CAP/CMS
  • Participate in several LDT test development and launch activities
  • Liaison with Clinical Laboratory Director and lead the charge with building our clinical testing group
  • Participate in LIMS deployment


  • BS in biological sciences, chemistry or analytical chemistry
  • >5 years experience CLS – Generalist prefered
  • Experience in building testing laboratory infrastructure, policies and infrastructure
  • Proven track record with CLIA/CAP/CMS audit preparedness
  • Experience in assay validation and proficiency studies
  • Mass spectroscopy experience is a big plus
  • Experience in LIMS specifications and roll out
  • Rigorous CAPA/training and EHS experience
