Job Description

We are seeking an individual who has a passion for science and relationship building to join our team as a Client Relations Manager.  As a Client Relations Manager, you have excellent communication skills that enable you to present technical information to a wide variety of audiences.  You are self-motivated and able to effectively manage time and resources.  You have demonstrated leadership and organizational skills, and a passion for continual process improvement. 

 About the Role:

In this role, you will identify potential clients for the company's plasmid DNA, mRNA, protein, and antibody services in the Boston metropolitan area.  You will provide support to existing clients and identify potential opportunities to cross-sell services.  You will understand client needs and industry trends to establish long-term relationships and become a trusted partner to clients.

Requirements

About You:  

  • At least 5 years of experience in biotechnology sales
  • Previous experience with CRM and ERP systems
  • Experience in a GxP or another regulated environment
  • Broad scientific and technical expertise in the fields of cell biology, molecular biology and protein biochemistry. 
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to travel

Education

  • BS in Biology, Chemistry or related field required, advanced degree preferred
