Enzymatics, a Qiagen Company, is seeking a Business Development Specialist for an entry level role focusing on the West Coast region. This position is accountable for delivering accurate revenue forecast throughout the fiscal year, enabling the executive team to monitor business performance and drive decision making. The Business Development Specialist is required to maintain knowledge of competitor products and strategies, identifying and escalating competitor activities to the Executive team in an appropriate time bound manner.
Job performance will involve a variety of activities including:
- Attain quarterly and annual revenue targets established from annual operating plans.
- Deliver accurate and timely forecasts for their territory.
- Drive profitable and sustainable revenue and margin growth.
- Introduce new product ideas to internal partners.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing and Sales Operations to minimize time to revenue.
- Represent the company at relevant tradeshows.
- Maintain and raise awareness of the competitive landscape in the markets served.
- Additional duties as assigned.
