Work closely with company CEO, COO and senior scientists to develop new products and high value service projects.
Source and monitor new business opportunities, including preparing in-depth marketing strategy, attending scientific and partnering conferences, and meeting with companies, universities, and VCs.
Participate and lead in marketing writing, grant writing, internal technical literature, abstracts, patents, and journal articles.
Promote and market a series of products and services. Establish and develop key relationships and grow new business revenue at biotech, agriculture, pharmaceutical and large academic accounts.
Take an active role in identifying customer needs. Provide market feedback to the company leadership team regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and product development ideas.
Make presentations and recommendations to senior management and customers. Support the negotiating team in drafting and negotiating term sheets and contracts.
