Job Description

The person in this role will help validate and manage our cardiovascular disease NGS pipeline:

  • Assist in the design and execution the validation plan for the pipeline
  • Generate NGS diagnostic reports for patients on the validated pipeline
  • Help identify potentially novel pathogenic mutations related to cardiovascular disease in research samples.
  • Assist the Clinical Analytics team with other projects, including statistical analysis of clinical studies, analysis and visualizations of physician data, and assay development.
  • Write papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals.

Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree in bioinformatics
  • Experience with Next Generation Sequencing technology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in at least one statistical analysis software environment such as R (preferred), SAS, or SPSS.
  • Experience with python, LaTex, linux, and SQL
