Job Description

Universal Diagnostics (UDX) is looking to hire a Data Scientist. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a passionate and fast-growing startup developing novel diagnostic test with the potential to significantly impact society.

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Filter and “clean" data, review reports and distribute internally & to customers.
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Requirements
  • Proven working experience as a data analyst in bio sector.
  • Experience and solid understanding of machine learning and statistical tools in general.
  • Experience in R.
  • Experience working with medical data (i.e. clinical study).
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets.
  • Good foundations in general computer science.
  • Programming and software engineering skills to be able to own the end-to-end development of a data solution.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and team-work skills.
  • Excellent English speaking and writing capabilities is a must.
