Job Description

We are a rapidly growing company that manufactures biologics (such as Plasmid DNA) to help accelerate scientific research and breakthroughs.  We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join our Technical Operations department and support activities related to the optimization of existing products and processes and the implementation of new products and process changes.  Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in science, as well as a minimum of 2 years of biologics manufacturing experience.  Experience supporting validation in a GMP environment is preferred.  

About the Role 

  • Design studies under instruction, execute experiments, and analyse data to support GMP investigations and manufacturing change controls  
  • Facilitate technology transfer from process development to GMP for new product and process introductions, and for modifications of existing processes 
  • Develop standard operating procedures, production records, and training materials for new processes, materials, and equipment  
  • Conduct activities related to the development of new processes, evaluating process cost, quality, and capability alternatives 
  • Function as a technical role model and resource/consultant to other departments 
  • Work collaboratively with Aldevrons' clients to develop and improve production processes
