Main Duties and Responsibilities 
MedImmune is seeking an applicant for an Associate Scientist I/II position in the anti-bacterial group in infectious diseases and will help in developing monoclonal antibodies against bacterial virulence factors. 
Physicochemical Testing Group within the Analytical Sciences Department. The successful candidate will develop and optimize in vitro based assays for antibody testing and mechanism of action determination



Requirements: 

Essential Requirements 
Education: B.S or M.S in biology, microbiology, immunology or related discipline 
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant laboratory experience 
Knowledge 

•Broad experience required in immunologic assays (e.g. ELISA, whole cell ELISA, western blots, flow cytometry, opsonophagocytic killing assays), and cell culture. 
•Additional experience in high throughput screening and molecular biology would be a plus. 
•The candidate must be dedicated to maintaining high laboratory standards with regard to safety and quality, and must possess good organization, record keeping and communication skills. 
•Must be able to understand, conduct and interpret results of technically challenged experiments with minimum supervision
