The eBioscience Division of Affymetrix provides innovative high quality reagents to researchers worldwide that empower the process of scientific discovery in the areas of cellular immunity and oncology. Our extensive portfolio of leading edge cell analysis products and technologies focused on flow cytometry and immunodetection position our customers to be at the forefront of science. With the inclusion of branched DNA technology in our portfolio, we now give our customers the ability to simultaneously detect both protein and RNA at the single cell level by flow cytometry using our PrimeFlow™ assay and by microscopy using our ViewRNA™ cell and tissue assays. In addition, we have changed the way our researchers are looking at gene and protein expression via novel Luminex® based technologies. With our ProcartaPlex® portfolio, researchers can multiplex over 60 protein analytes simultaneously. Our QuantiGene® Plex assay uses Luminex® technology coupled with bra nched DNA to allow the quantitation of up to 80 genes in a single well from a sample lysate with no enzyme based amplification. eBioscience is aligned with, and responsive to, our customers’ ever-changing needs making eBioscience a preferred discovery partner.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Generates and qualifies sales leads by building a strong pipeline in the research community, focused technologies include Immunoassay's, Flow Cytometry, and Gene Expression
* Generates forecast reports
* Builds and manages accounts in assigned territory
* Increases customer awareness of Affymetrix and is an advocate for its platforms and applications
* Creates and maintains relationships with customers
* Devises and implements account and territory strategies
* Identifies product improvements and new product opportunities
* Identifies and mitigates competitive barriers
* Provide market intelligence back into the organization
* May provide after sales technical support and customer service
* Coordinates and/or conducts both technical and promotional seminars
* Initiates and coordinates action plans to penetrate new markets
* Participates in process and operation improvement opportunities
* Responds to internal and external inquiries
* Complies with company quality management systems, policies and procedures
* Provides mentorship, if applicable
* Additional duties/responsibilities according to business needs

* Education: Bachelor's Preferred: Masters
* Experience: 2-5 years Preferred: 5-8 years
* Competencies: Interpersonal skills, results oriented
* Preferred: Program project management, Immunology and Flow Cytometry
* Travel Requirements: as specific territory requires
* Working Conditions: Field office

* Experienced professional with full comprehension of established principles, theories, concepts to resolve an extensive range of issues
