Key Responsibilities:
• Champion the development and application of state-of-the-art genomic profiling techniques, with an expertise in NGS platforms.
• Harness our tissue biobank to draw out valuable insights and identify research opportunities.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of scientists, fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Partner with clinicians to ensure the seamless integration of research findings into patient care.
• Design, initiate, and oversee groundbreaking research projects, ensuring alignment with our institution's goals and vision.
• Collaborate with global experts, research institutions, and industry partners to position our institution as a leader in cancer genomic research.
• Continuously monitor advancements in the field, integrating new techniques, tools, and methodologies as appropriate.
• Communicate research findings through publications, presentations, and other appropriate channels.
• Craft and submit research grant proposals, ensuring continued funding and support for the institution’s ambitious projects.

Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomic Sciences, or relevant field(s).
• Completion of post-doctoral training
• Conversant in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and other state-of-the-art molecular and cellular tools
• A solid understanding of cancer genomics and its implications for patient care.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing scientific teams and projects.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• A commitment to collaboration, with the ability to forge strong internal and external partnerships.
• Experience in translational research, bridging the gap between laboratory findings and clinical applications.
