Position Overview
M42 is seeking three Applied Scientists at different levels to join our team, where members hail from distinguished institutions including Oxford, Harvard, Berkeley, among others. Work alongside world-class peers in driving forward projects that build foundational models for Genomics, Language, and Multimodal AI.

Specific areas of interest include
- Natural Language Processing (including Large Language Models)
- Safe, Responsible, Ethical AI
- Reinforcement Learning
- Deep Learning for Genomics
- Multimodal AI

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement AI Models:
- Lead the ideation, creation, and refinement of foundational AI models.
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration for the seamless integration of these models into products.
- Play a significant role in shaping our strategic AI roadmap.
- Stay at the forefront of AI in healthcare advancements.
- Mentor and learn from a team of top-tier professionals.

Basic Qualifications
- Ph.D. in EE, CS, AI, ML, or M.S. with equivalent work experience.
- Solid foundation in deep learning and machine learning.
- Individuals who are perpetual learners, critical thinkers, and collaborative contributors with proven experience in the AI domain.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications
- Ph.D. in EE, CS, AI, ML, Genomics, Bioinformatics, and other related areas or M.S. with equivalent work experience.
- Solid foundation in deep learning, machine learning, and genomics.
- Individuals who are perpetual learners, critical thinkers, and collaborative contributors with proven experience in the AI domain.
- Previous experience of AI applied to multimodal healthcare datasets (Omics, EHR, Imaging,...)
