NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Biomatrica said this week it has obtained CE-IVD marking for three sample collection tubes for use in molecular diagnostic applications.
The tubes enable noninvasive collection and preservation of biomarkers, such as circulating or total nucleic acids, and protein and cellular biomarkers. The CE-IVD-marked tubes include LBgard Blood for preserving cfDNA and targeted cells for liquid biopsy and noninvasive prenatal testing; SalivaGard HT DNA, which provides DNA yield for carrier screening, oncology, and other next-generation sequencing-based applications; and RNAgard Blood for preserving total nucleic acids in blood for evaluating gene expression and methylation biomarkers.
