Eurofins MWG Operon Gets ISO Certifications

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Eurofins MWG Operon today said that it has received two ISO certifications covering quality management systems for its Huntsville, Ala., facility.

The genomics services firm said that it received ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 certifications from BSI Group America.

Martin Kunz, CEO of Eurofins MWG Operon's US operations, said that the certifications are "an important step in the expansion of Eurofins MWG Operon products and services beyond research use only applications and into the diagnostics market."
