The Morgantown, W.Va.-based company said that it has inked deals with Yair Technologies for the distribution of Protea products in Israel; with BioAnalytic covering Poland; with Irida Iberica covering Spain and Portugal; and with IDL Teknolojik covering Turkey.

The partners will distribute Protea's sample preparation and mass spectrometry products and its LAESI DP-1000 sample analysis instrument, Protea Vice President and General Manager Alessandro Baldi said.

Financial and other terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Earlier this year Protea and Waters announced a co-marketing deal to offer Waters' SYNAPT G2 and G2-S HDMS systems with the LAESI DP-1000 system.
