Pronota this week launched the MASSterclass platform for biomarker verification. The platform incorporates a novel series of orthogonal complexity reduction combined with targeted mass spectrometry. Throughput is maintained when screening large panels of biomarker candidates by multiplexing different analytes in the same assay, the company said in a statement. MASSterclass complements Pronota’s MASStermind biomarker discovery platform.
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center recently launched ProteoWizard, a modular set of open-source, cross-platform tools and software libraries for proteomics data analysis.
Modules include msconvert, a general data format conversion tool; msdiff, a tool for comparing two data files; and msaccess, which provides command-line access to mass spec data files, including spectrum binary data and metadata, selected ion chromatograms, and pseudo-2D gel image creation.
