Promega this week launched the ProteasMAX Surfactant for the enhancement of enzymatic performance of trypsin and other proteases in preparation for analysis by mass spectrometry or liquid chromatography.
ProteasMAX allow researchers to obtain a more complete digestion prior to protein analysis resulting in more accurate data in shorter time and reduced risk of sample degradation, Promega said in a statement. It is compatible with existing protocols of 1D and 2D in-gel digestion of a purified protein or the digestion of complex protein samples by 2D LC-MS/MS.
AnaSpec last week introduced ClearPoint Peptides, heavy isotope-labeled peptides for the absolute quantitation of proteins.
ClearPoint peptides offer a choice of heavy hydrogen, carbon, or nitrogen istopes specifically labeled at single, multiple, or universal positions.
