Pressure BioSciences

Pressure BioSciences this week introduced the FT500-ND Pulse tube for use with the company’s PCT sample preparation system.
The tubes are single-use containers and are based on the FT500 Pulse tube. Unlike the earlier products, the FT500-ND has no lysis disk. The new design was based on market demand for a new PCT consumable for “the rapid and reproducible processing of solutions and suspensions that do not require partial homogenization by passage through a lysis disk, and for a consumable that could accept smaller sample volumes,” said Nathan Lawrence, vice president of marketing at Pressure BioSciences, in a statement.
