Percorso to Distribute in North America for Phoenix

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Phoenix Science and Technology said today that it has tapped Percorso Life Sciences to distribute its nanospray technologies in North America.

Phoenix S&T develops injection-molded nanospray devices for use in mass spectrometry applications. Those products include the AutoNano System, a nanospray MS nozzle and nano-liquid chromatography system used for proteomics and biomarker research.

The Chester, Pa.-based company said it aims to offer more sensitivity "while consuming far less sample for use in the mass spectrometry analysis of proteins, sera, and drug-candidate molecules."

"The sales growth prospects for Phoenix's solutions are highly favorable at this time and we plan to capitalize on the market transition to micro and nanospray technology," Dino DiCamillo, president and CEO of Harleysville, Pa.-based Percorso, said in a statement.
