People in the News: New Hires at Integrated Diagnostics and More


Integrated Diagnostics announced this week that it has appointed Donald Seaton as chief financial officer and James Garner as chief business officer (See story this issue).

Seaton was previously chief financial officer at several life science companies including EndoGastric Solutions, Corus Pharma, Talisma, SonoSite, and InControl.

Garner, who worked with InDi for most of 2011 as a consultant, was previously an executive at UnitedHealth Group as well as vice president of sales at MDatactor and director of marketing at Elan Diagnostics.

Bruker this week announced it has appointed Stephan Westermann as executive vice president for order execution, production, and logistics of its Scientific Instruments division.

Previously Westermann was executive vice president of operations for Bruker BioSpin. Before that he was chief financial officer of Bruker AXS and Bruker BioSpin.
