People in the News: Mandal Lab Named Waters Center of Excellence

Waters announced this week that it has named the St. John's Research Institute in Bangalore, India, a Center of Excellence.

The institute is led by Amit Kumar Mandal, a professor of Molecular Medicine and Clinical Proteomics and an expert in the field of structural proteomics. Among his research interests are the structural changes associated with post-translational modifications of hemoglobin variants.

St. John's Research Institute is the first institution in India to be designated a Waters Center of Excellence.
