People in the News: Management Changes at Thermo Fisher and More


Thermo Fisher Scientific’s board of directors has approved the following management changes, which went into effect Jan. 1:

Gregory Herrema, formerly senior vice president and president of Analytical Instruments, is now president of Biosciences. Alan Lalaus, formerly senior vice president and president of Laboratory Products, is now executive vice president and president of Analytical Technologies. Thomas Loewalk, formerly president of Laboratory Equipment, is now senior vice president and president of Laboratory Products.

Vermillion this week announced the resignation of chief financial officer Ashish Kohli.

According to the company, Kohli left due to the elimination of his position. Vermillion also this week reduced its board from eight to seven members and eliminated four territory development managers and one regional sales director role.
