Premium

Bruker announced this week that it has appointed Charles Wagner as executive vice president and new chief financial officer, effective June 30. He will replace current CFO William Knight, who will continue to serve as a member of the company's senior management.

As part of his transition, Wagner has stepped down from his roles as a member of Bruker's board of directors and audit committee.

Wagner was executive vice president of finance and administration and CFO of Progress Software. Before that he was vice president and CFO of Millipore.

Chris van Ingen, an independent director at Bruker, has been elected to take over Wagner's position on the audit committee.
