Thermo Fisher Scientific this week appointed Klaus Lindpaintner and Edison Liu to its scientific advisory board.

Lindpainter recently joined Thermo Fisher in the newly created role of chief scientific officer for analytical technologies. Before that he was chief scientific officer and vice president of research and development at Strategic Diagnostics. He was also global head of molecular medicine policy and external affairs for F. Hoffman-La Roche.

Lui is the president and CEO of the Jackson Laboratory as well as the founder of the Genome Institute of Singapore.
