New Products: Waters, Thermo Fisher

Waters has released its XBridge Protein BEH SEC Columns for size-based separations of protein-based biotherapeutics.

Intended for analyzing proteins and other biomolecules ranging in molecular weight from 10,000 Da to 1,.5 million Da, the columns are designed to operate at higher flow rates and pressures than traditional silica-based SEC columns, the company said.

Thermo Fisher Scientific this week launched its Q Exactive Focus LC-MS/MS system.

Aimed primarily at the small molecule and applied markets, the instrument offers up to 70,000 resolution and scan speed up to 12 Hz.
