Waters this week released its Progenesis Q1 2.0 software for small molecule data analysis.

The software includes features like pathway mapping, which aids in placing 'omics data in a biological context; workflow automation; improved access to compound databases; and expanded statistics functionality, the company said.


Shimadzu this week released its IMScope TRIO Imaging Mass Microscope, a combined mass spectrometry-optical microscopy platform that the company said allows for high resolution morphological imaging along with molecular distribution images at a spatial resolution of 5 µm.

The company also released its Nexera e-Series 2D liquid chromatography system for the separation of target analytes in complex samples.
