AB Sciex said this week that it has completed development of its MS/MSALL with SWATH mass spec acquisition technique.
Developed in collaboration with Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich researcher Ruedi Aebersold, the technique uses a data-independent MS/MS acquisition method "to fragment all components of a sample through a rapidly moving selection window," which "provides a complete qualitative and quantitative archive of the sample," the company said.
It added that the technique, which uses AB Sciex's TripleTOF 5600 mass spectrometer, will be commercially available in the near future.
ProImmune this week launched its B cell ELISpot assay as a service aimed at characterization of adaptive immune responses to infection, immune modulators, vaccines, and therapeutic agents.
The assay enables characterization of the antibody secretions of memory B cells at a cellular level, the company said.
