MyCartis this week launched its Evaluation multiplex biomarker analysis system.

The system is intended for simultaneous analysis of multiple protein and nucleic acid markers and features an integrated reaction and detection environment, the company said.

Phenomenex this week launched its Novum Simplified Liquid Extraction reagent for use in liquid-liquid extraction in cleanup of biological samples like plasma and urine.

According to the company, the reagent improves results while reducing instrument wear and tear compared to traditional reagents.

Waters this week released its Waters ACQUITY UPC2 Trefoil columns for chiral separations and its Waters ACQUITY UPC2 Torus columns for achiral separations. Both columns increase speed and selectivity while reducing method development time, the company said.
