Premium

Bruker this week launched several new tools for its MALDI Biotyper platform including a new edition of its MBT Mycobacteria Library, which adds 140 isolates from 37 new species, bringing the instruments total mycobacteria coverage to more than 130 species, the company said.

It also released its Pilot accessory, which allows for light-guided manual MALDI target preparation; its Galaxy accessory, which performs quality-controlled automatic deposition of the MALDI matrix onto the target plate; and its MALDI-Biotyper-Spectrum-Beta-Lactamase, MSBL, workflow, which allows researchers to perform functional beta-lactam antibiotic resistance testing for selected antibiotics.
