Aushon Biosystems this week launched its next-generation SignaturePLUS Imaging and Analysis System for multiplex protein biomarker analysis.

The platform comes with a CCD imager with custom optics designed specifically for quantitative chemiluminescent protein arrays. The system works with any of Aushon's menu of more than 300 validated protein biomarkers and features typical imaging times of less than 2 minutes per plate, the company said.

Thermo Fisher Scientific this week introduced its new PEPotec SRM custom peptide library for medium- to high-throughput development of single-reaction monitoring mass spec assays.

The PEPotec SRM consists of fully synthetic crude peptides of lengths of six to 25 amino acids and is available in a 96-well format. Synthesis takes a minimum of seven days, the company said, and custom options such as C-terminal amino acids, phospho groups, and isotope-labeled peptides are also available.

GE Healthcare this week launched its new PreDictor RoboColumn miniaturized chromatographic columns and its rProtein A GraviTrap, Protein G GraviTrap, rProtein A GraviTrap/Protein G GraviTrap gravity-flow columns.

The PreDictor columns are for use with robotic liquid handling stations to support fully automated chromatographic separations. The new gravity-flow columns are designed for small-scale monoclonal and polyclonal antibody purification.
