Olink Bioscience this week launched its Plasma Biomarker Discovery Service, which offers analysis of plasma samples for up to 74 potential cancer biomarkers using a multiplexed immunoassay platform.

Four different screening panels are available, with analysis requiring no more than 2 microliters of sample, the company said.

ForteBio this week released its new Octet RED96 System for the measurement of protein concentrations and the determination of kinetics, affinity, and specificity of protein-protein and protein-small molecule interactions. The company also released its Dip and Read Protein L Biosensor, which enables direct quantification of kappa light chain containing immunoglobulins.

The new Octet platform will allow researchers to perform analyses that have traditionally been conducted with SPR, HPLC, ELISA, and other single-purpose microfluidics instruments, the company said.

Cerno Bioscience this week introduced its MassWorks AutoID software package for automating the company's MassWorks calibration and formula ID process on quadrupole mass spectrometry systems.

The new program eliminates the manual steps involved in MassWorks like the injection of calibration standards, user selection of ions, and report generation, the company said.
