Dionex this week released its ProPac SCX-20 column for the high-resolution characterization of protein variants.

The column features strong cation-exchange surface chemistry on a nonporous pellicular resin, and allows for the separation of protein variants that differ by as little as one charged residue, the company said.

Shimadzu this week launched its LabSolutions 5.3 software suite for the operation of liquid and gas chromatography systems.

The software, which supports the full range of Shimadzu's HPLC instrumentation and select GC instruments, enables the configuration of up to 16 LC/GC systems and allows for the operation of any instrument on the network from any computer on the network.
