GenScript announced this week that it is offering a 30 percent discount on its peptide synthesis and modification services in celebration of the recent expansion of its peptide production facility.

The promotion will run until Aug. 31.


Covance announced this week that it has opened a new 20,000-square-foot biorepository facility at its Greenfield, Ind., location. The facility will be used to store a variety of specimens, including plasma, serum, whole blood, DNA, PBMC, and tissue.

According to a statement released by the company, the biorepository has the ability to withstand exposure to winds in excess of 300 miles per hour and offers a range of frozen storage including -20 degrees C, -70 degrees C, -80 degrees C, and -150 degrees C vapor phase liquid nitrogen.
