GE Healthcare launched this week its Amersham Hyperfilm Blue film for the detection of chemiluminescent signals in various blotting assays.

According to the company, the new film offers lower sensitivity than Amersham Hyperfilm, enabling researchers to produce faster qualitative results in Western, Southern, and Northern blots, reducing minimal exposure time to as little as one minute.
