Caris Life Sciences announced this week it has hired Richard Bender as senior vice president of medical affairs for oncology.

Previously, Bender was vice president and chief medical officer at Agendia, where he was involved in the commercialization of the company's MammaPrint breast cancer prognostic. He was medical director at Quest Diagnostics and has worked for Johnson & Johnson and the National Cancer Institute.
