AB Sciex this week announced it has appointed Ranier Blair company president.

Previously he was president for North America & Europe of printer company Videojet. Prior to that he was president and CEO of construction chemical company MAPEI Americas and an executive with BASF Group.

Trans-Hit Biomarkers announced that René Paulussen is its new chief operating officer.

Paulussen brings to the Montreal, Quebec-based firm 20 years of experience in scientific research and business management. Before joining Trans-Hit Biomarkers, Paulussen was COO of Genizon Biosciences from 2002.
