Aussie fluorescence and protein technologies firm Fluorotechnics this week appointed Lars Utterman as a non-executive director.

Utterman is CEO of IonGate, German company that develops systems for transporter protein measurements in drug discovery. He is also chairman of Cellectricon, Gyros, and Ludesi, and is a board member of LIVC Technologies. He has more than 30 years of experience in sales and general management in various biotechnology firms.
