Waters this week named the laboratory of National University of Singapore researcher Ganesh Anand one of its Centers of Innovation. The award was given based on Anand's work on protein-protein, protein-ligand, and protein-nucleic acid interactions, the company said.
Anand is an assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at NUS and an expert in amide H/D exchange mass spectrometry.
Raymond Kaiser has joined Covance as its new global science leader and vice president for biotechnology services, replacing Carl Martin, who is retiring.
Previously, Kaiser was executive director of bioprocess research and development at Merck Research Laboratories.
