Aushon BioSystems this week appointed Ken Titlebaum as CFO and Mike Tognotti as vice president of worldwide sales and marketing.
Titlebaum joins Aushon from E Ink, a privately held developer of paper-like electronic displays. Tognotti joins Aushon from CombiMatrix. He also has held positions with Illumina, Fisher Scientific, and Operon Technologies.

Jay Heinecke has joined the scientific advisory board of Insilicos, the company said this week. Heinecke is a professor at the University of Washington’s department of medicine, where is also the director of the mass spectrometry resource.

CombiMatrix Molecular Diagnostics has named Dindyal Ramkissoon vice president of sales and marketing. He will be responsible for leading the company’s sales initiatives for its molecular diagnostics business and for assembling CombiMatrix’s national sales force. Prior to joining CombiMatrix, Ramkissoon was US sales manager at Applied Spectral Imaging.

At its annual shareholders meeting this week, Sigma-Aldrich said the following directors were reelected: Nina Fedoroff; David Harvey; W. Lee McCollum; Jai Nagarkatti; Avi Nash; William O’Neil Jr.; Steven Paul; J. Pedro Reinhard; Timothy Sear; Dean Spatz; and Barrett Toan.
