Invitrogen, AnaSpec

Invitrogen launched its Dynabeads SCX sample-preparation product last week. The magnetic beads use cationic exchange to precisely separate proteomic samples based on isoelectric point and net charge differences in preparation for downstream analyses such as mass spectrometry, HPLC, or 1D/2D gel electrophoresis, the company said.

AnaSpec this week launched the following flow cytometry products: Fluorescent Secondary Antibodies, available here; AnaTag Antibody Labeling Kits that allow researchers to prepare their own reagents, availiable here; Streptavidin, available here; and the HiLyte Series of High Performance Dyes, available here.
The company also released a catalogue of 55 new peptides for drug discovery research. The peptides include Beta-Amyloid (1-15); Biotin-Ghrelin, bovine; and (pS8, pS13) Eucariotic Translation Initiation Factor 2B, and eIF2B.
