Everglades Project Using AB-MDS Mass Spec System | GenomeWeb

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Life Technologies today said that the Everglades Restoration Project is using a mass spectrometry system manufactured and sold by the joint venture of Applied Biosystems and MDS to identify pesticides and other contaminants.

Life Technologies said that scientists at Jupiter Environmental Laboratories are using the AB Sciex QTrap 5500 mass spec system to provide information that will help environmental engineers make more informed decisions about dismantling canals, transferring land, and restoring natural flood plains.
