Advion Appoints Scientifix as Distributor in Australia

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Advion today announced the appointment of Scientifix as the exclusive distributor for its expression compact mass spectrometer in Australia.

Scientifix will also be Advion's representative in Australia for its broadening Ion Source range, including the TriVersa NanoMate and the Chip-Mate.

Financial and other terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The deal is the third announced by Ithaca, NY-based Advion following distribution deals for the expression system in Israel, India, and China. The instrument is designed for discovery research and the process development synthetic organic chemistry market and is about half the size and half the price of other single quadrupole mass spectrometers on the market, the company said.
