Pressure BioSciences Lands CE Mark for Sample Prep Instrument

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Pressure BioSciences today announced it has received CE Marking for its Barocycler 2320Extreme instrument.

The sample preparation machine for proteomic analysis offers users different options for data logging, user-level security, computer-based and touch screen control, and customizable pressure cycling parameters.

Pressure launched the instrument last year.

"Achievement of CE Marking for the Barocycler 2320Extreme is an important next step in our commercialization plans for this powerful and enabling sample preparation instrument," Nate Lawrence, Pressure's VP of marketing and sales, said in a statement, "especially since CE Marking is required prior to selling [it] to the large and potentially lucrative biopharmaceutical market in Europe."
