Greg Lucier, chairman and CEO of Life Technologies, was named to CareFusion's board of directors this week.

CareFusion, based in San Diego, is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of Cardinal Health and is expected to become a public firm from the planned spinout of Cardinal's clinical and medical products business.
