Integrated Diagnostics announced this week that Gregory Critchfield has joined the company's board as an independent director.

Critchfield is the former president of Myriad Genetic Laboratories and recently served as an independent director at molecular biological tools company BioTrove.

Ian Pike was appointed this week to Proteome Sciences' board of directors.

Pike joined the company in 2002 and is currently its chief operating officer. Prior to that, he worked for Wellcome, Murex Biotech, and Abbott-Murex.

Caprotec this week appointed Rainer Metternich managing director, chief business officer, and chief operating officer.

Prior to joining Caprotec, Metternich held senior positions at Merck, Schering, and Novartis.
