These grants will fund research in multiple areas concerning the heterogeneity of autism spectrum disorders, including biomarkers/biological signatures, genetics/genomics, and model development.

Application deadline for the NINDS Ischemic Stroke Genetics Consortium grant, which will use National Institute of Neurological Diseases and Stroke funds for applications to establish a genome-wide association study consortium focused on identifying genes that influence the risk and outcome of ischemic stroke.

Application deadline for the Petascale Computing Resource Allocations grant. This NSF grant will fund applications from research groups to utilize Blue Waters, a new NSF-funded petascale computing system that will go online at the University of Illinois in 2011. Proposals must demonstrate that there is a science or engineering research problem that requires and can effectively exploit the petascale computing capabilities offered by Blue Waters.

Application deadline for the grant entitled Pharmacogenomics Research Network. This NIH award, comprised of funds from NIGMS, NHLBI, NCI, NIDA, NIMH, and NICHD, will award participation in the PGRN. Grantees will conduct research into understanding the genetic basis of variable drug responses, both therapeutic and adverse.

Application deadline for The Integrative Cancer Biology Program: Centers for Cancer Systems Biology grant. NIH will fund CCSBs that will develop integrative systems approaches and mathematical/computational modeling to cancer research, and especially in this grant, predictive computational modeling.

Application deadline for the grant, 1000 Genomes Project Dataset Analysis. This NIH funding will support analysis of the full dataset from the project, including evaluating allele frequency distribution and signals of natural selection, producing additional data types, evaluating the strategies used to develop the dataset, and developing additional tools.
