BioSolutions, Bioquote Reach Distribution Deal for UK, Ireland

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Claremont BioSolutions today announced a distribution deal with Bioquote covering the UK and Ireland.

The deal is for Claremont's products for sample preparation, DNA isolation, and protein purification and extends the Upland, Calif.-based company's reach into Europe. The first product to be marketed will be the company's Omnilyse lysis kits and PureLyse extraction kits.

Claremont develops, manufactures, and markets cell lysis, DNA extraction, and His-tagged protein purification kits and columns. Bioquote, headquartered in York, UK, distributes life science products throughout Europe.

Financial and other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
