TGen: John Fryer

The Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) has appointed John Fryer as a professor in the Division of Bioinnovation and Genome Sciences and as director of the new Center for Accelerated Nanotherapeutics. He joins TGen from the Mayo Clinic, where he was a professor in the Department of Neuroscience, among other roles. Fryer, an expert in neurodegenerative diseases, holds a BSc in microbiology from the University of Arizona and a PhD in neuroscience from Washington University in St. Louis.
