SummerBio: Julie Gerberding

Julie Gerberding has been appointed to the board of directors of infectious disease testing firm SummerBio. She is the incoming CEO of the Foundation for the National institutes of Health and the former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Before that, she was a tenured faculty member at the University of California, San Francisco. Gerberding holds undergraduate and MD degrees from Case Western Reserve University and a master's in public health from the University of California, Berkeley.
